Definietly right to make this post. I agree with it and it needs to be listened too. This season has become a shambles. The promised KOTH, Outpost and other things that would be the pinpoint of this season hasn't come despite asking for it and asking after it for so long.

Vyzon and others need to get a grip with the server and do the things they set out and promised to do. If Vyzon and Co. don't have time, then they shouldn't be running the server / giving out false promises which they know they can't keep, this season really has been a let down.

Once the higher up team gets their crap together things might start to become more enjoyable but for right now I don't see much change coming unfortunately. I have looked for reasons to enjoy this season but they are slowly dwindling down with the very little effort that Vyzon seems to put in. It is a shame that he probably won't even see this as I have never seen him online on the forums apart frmo when he announces the new seasons..

You're probably the realest staff. Unlike other staff members you're not afraid to publicly speak out against the server, its community and the staff team itself. All of the others won't because they're driven by their role and power. That's why some people may not resign even if they are inactive, or not give out a public statement if they are not going to be here, the lucky staff team just feels a lot about power.

The server down to its core mechanics is just boring. The server community is toxic and the staff team is kind of a joke.

It truly is a shame that the administration team does nothing for the project that a community has gathered up around in all honesty they should indefinitely review their approach to their project and interactions with their project's community they lead.


I truly strive to be the best for the community and speak out the problems as a representative to ensure the best experience for all of us including me and I'm not scared to do so. I hope by doing what I did, I will achieve my goal of making a change in a positive way.

When I was staff I tried speaking to people about the server and genuinely tried to better it, the staff team too. But I really felt like I just wasn't listened to.

With all due respect, this post, is generally not as useful as I hoped.
Let's start at the very beginning.
I have stated multiple times in multiple threads, that the community is dying out, the community as of now is well aware of that.
One thing I would like to say is that Zach and Vyzon are literally, our only options on fixing the server.
Yes the current staff team is lacking in members, and there have been false reports, but I would like to congratulate on Star.
Star truly has been the only one carrying the staff team at all with his events. No, he has not fixed any problems, but he is keeping the server alive long enough so it can be fixed, but soon, that gift that he is giving to the community is going to die unless Zach and Vyzon do something.
Also in your moderation category, you are the last helper? I am pretty sure cord is still a helper too but who knows.
You may have had moderation experience, but you are barely ever on. Of course, you have a life but you are on every day like a rough 30 minutes, which either A) needs to be changed or B) needs to have consequences.
Most of the hate right now is directed towards staff due to the lack of secure punishments and actual punishments in general, and although the community is dead, lots of players who have caused multiple arguments are gone, so we have at least something good out of all of this.
Your opinion will not get you demoted, I would do the exact same thing, however, this whole thing is lacking one important detail.
A solution.
You stated your whole Pov which is incredibly fine, however, there is not really anyone can do about it, you are just stating your opinion which does not make you a criminal, which leads me to my main point as to why you created this? If you can answer that in your reply to this.
Our current management which is admin+, is not looking too great. We have had a manager, who barely ever talks to us, and we have had other managers/admins that do nothing, its like the positions are being picked out of a hat. I really do believe we need more qualified and smart individuals who can bring something to the table.
Staff management is not that big of a crisis right now, we have to focus on one issue, but also focus on staff as well, without dough, you cannot have a cookie. Without a server, you cannot have staff. Let's set our main priority or prioritize the community's well being and state and also focus on staff, but not as much as the community, staff rely on the community to be staff
There is one thing in common with all of these categories is that they have to do with people.
Cord, Jeuin, or Star, cannot be held accountable for what happens to this server.
We have to rely on management positions such as the Owner and our Sr Administrator, to fix the server before it dies out.
We have had KOTH, multiple bugs, quests, island upgrades, purchases/items on the store, and pretty much everything, needs to be updated. We are now on the verge of not having a lot of options to fix the server, I am being serious when I say this, the past 4 days, I have not seen anyone purchase a single thing from the store except Star, having to pay his own money for titles in his community events, to give the server some oxygen before it will die.
The community has been very nice on my terms, and while I have been here, there has not been a single argument in chat for the 5 days I have totally been online here. Staff, however, needs punishments for pretty much everyone.
Jeuin, I do not mean to hurt your feelings in any way but it feels like you do not really care about being helper, you just want the role. You barely come on
Star and Cord, cord has been having a rough time but there is no excuse if someone can not handle a job like this, resign. They tend to make, not the best judgement on some issues, which leads to conflict.
And also, most attacks or arguments now are mostly on the forums. There is so much conflict of interest in things like staff applications and some threads that other people make, that they just argue. There needs to be better enforcement with rules on the forums, this is quite sad to have everyone doing whatever they pretty much want to here without consequences.

I really didn't want to become Helper in the first place I did it to help ItsZachTay and Vyzon I've know Vyzon for a while now and I truly want to give him a hand. I do NOT and I say I do not want the Helper rank just for it's god damn role, that is probably that list thing I'd ever do. I had planned to quit on many occasions but I decided to help the community if there is ANY other reasons why'd you believe other wise please state so and I'll try my best to convince you otherwise.

Well, have you been helping the community pretty much using harry potters invisible cloak? I never see you on and you are only a helper, a helper can do so much, and if you did not want the helper position, I understand you were just trying to be helpful, but that does not seem as if you are dedicated to that position yknow? This isn't what the post is about, you don't have to be on for hours to understand the terrible state that this server is in. I don't think Jeuin should be the one who needs talking to. You can put in many hours but have a small impact on the community, or even a negative one. Jeuin is probably one of the more prominent members of the community even if he doesn't commit 25 hours a day like some others do.

Sure, if they can't handle a job like this they should resign. Ice didn't make an easily accessible message to say she was going away. Because she wants to make sure she keeps her role and power. This would be okay if she still interacted with the community, but the only times I have seen her publicly speak in the discord is when someone asked where she was. Another thing is that I reported a player a while ago and after multiple days and her coming on the server she didn't deal with it after being prompted. She is a SrMod and I needed a SrMod to deal with it. She had shown a lack of interest in the server even before going away. Another person is Star. I don't believe Star should have gotten Mod, I think he means well but just needs to be taught, I'd say not being knowledgeable at moderation counts as not handling something, maybe he should have asked to stay helper so he could learn. Star even agreed with me in an in-game conversation that he should have had training (this was while he was helper). Instead of attacking Jeuin for speaking the truth, why not think about these other staff members first? Atleast cord actually released something public to explain what was going on, she cared about the community. Again, not saying ShootinStar doesn't, just needs experience.

I agree with this because there's been a number of times that you've been excessively toxic or caused multiple arguments on the forums. There are definitely conflicts of interest. I bet you're trying very hard right now not to say something too aggressive because you want staff. I've seen in this thread you saying some things to Jeuin but immediately backing out by using smiles and clarifying you're not being aggressive just because you want staff, just a sidenote that you're definitely putting on a mask because you want staff. A conflict of interest is Jeuin wanting to help the server and you wanting to look like you know what you're talking about with the community because you want staff.

This is only my opinion, I have stated posts like this mutiple times, and I do not understand nor comprehend that these are empty statements, they are statements. You have also done the exact same thing that you claim I am doing, which is be nice with the community to become staff, I am acting professional, and myself. With all due respect, I understand I have been toxic, and you should not leave that out, but we are not talking about me here, and I also find myself to be quite respectful and understand now a days, regardless if I have been toxic in the past.
