Why should your appeal be accepted?

To make this story short, I am using the newer version of Schematica now called Litematica as schematica was abandoned and Litematica picked up where they left off. It is a plugin used to display where you need to place blocks in a build so that you don't misplace any, it also has a feature called "Easy place" which makes it so you cannot misplace a block. This is a part of Litematica which is an approved plugin so I figured it was allowed but apparently not. I'll stop using that feature and whoever is in charge should make that part of the description of Schematica in approved mods.

Hello @JompenMC,

Although Schematica and Litematica is allowed, you are not allowed to use printer or anything that helps you place blocks / places blocks from your inventory to your hotbar automatically such as easy place. This gives an advantage over other players and makes the season go by quicker with the ability to create farms much faster.

While it does not mention Easy Place, I believe it would be assumed that Easy Place is against the rules since it gives an advantage. However, since rules are not assumed and Easy Place was not mentioned, I will talk to other staff members about this before making a complete decision about this appeal.

I have since looked up how "Printer" works and some similarities although easyplace only allows for one block at a time placement whilst "Printer" allows you to place/fill blocks in what seems to be a 7x7 area around the player which would explain why it's banned. This message is quite pointless but might give some insight into how easyplace functions. @JompenMC we have decided to deny your appeal for the following reasons:

• Having a great advantage over other players by quickly building farms.
• Using a mod very similar to Printer - Easy Place.

The reason Easy Place is not mentioned under schematica is beacuse schematica does not have the Easy Place feature. Schematica and Litematica, although very similar, are not the same Mod. I will be mentioning to an admin to see if litematica can be added to the rules.

Hi @Plugin_Developer this is just a message to express how I feel regarding the differing treatment of ban appeals.

Now, I don't wanna appear as a complaining "karen" as it is just a 7-Days ban, but I feel as if the decision was a little bit unfair in comparison to other users ban appeals, where they intentionally break a rule or claim they were unaware of the rule or had mixed the server up with another and they get a shortened ban. Where in my case the rules were outdated and didn't include the feature used, I don't think it should be up to the player to research rules so that no similar features accidentally get used. To me Printer and EasyPlace are in two diffrent leagues and are hard to call "very" similar, as printer is practially the cheat "Nuker" but the other way around where it builds all blocks around you, whilst EasyPlace requires you to aim and you can only place one block at a time.

To close this message off I just want to state that I as in other users appeals stated my wrong doing and gave my word to not repeat my error. I know you don't really have to give a s**t about this message but I just felt like getting it said as it turns out the server reset which leaves me out for the first 5 days, which is quite vital time.

Thank you for expressing your concerns about how we do ban appeals. We will be taking your concerns into consideration and hopefully fixing any mistakes / unfairness in the appealing system. I do understand where you are coming from. I am currently working on a plan / have been working on a plan to improve the ban appeal system that we have in place now.

As for your last statement, the server has not reset and there is no planned date for a reset yet. An official announcement will be made before any planned reset. Do not listen to members on discord who are not admin or higher regarding reset as they also are unaware of when the server resets.
