Just for a little background information, reset was 3 days ago and people have already started making their sugar cane farms to climb is top and to make island money. Now, the staff are telling us that flying machines are not allowed in this season. This would be perfectly normal if they had emphasized on the new rule on the start of the reset since most people got money by sugar cane farms with flying machines, which at the time was allowed. However, 3 days after the reset, staff suddenly say that the machine is not allowed, despite not having a rule about it. Something really needs to change about the system of not adding in rules to the spreadsheet or not saying anything about it until people have already made their farms, personally my island had already made 15 layers of the farm. Now its completely wasted. It would be easy to say "Just world edit the farm away and make a new one", but this season is so ruined that 75% of the server is bugged. People have wasted their free time making farms hoping to earn a profit, and had they known that the flying machine was not allowed, they probably would have made a cactus farm or something related. But now they are left with a farm that needs to be broken, and the islands who had not made flying machines will easily reach the top island. As of the time I am writing this, I have not received any word of a compensation to players who have made sugar cane flying machines, which makes me and other so unmotivated.
The server had reset 3 days ago, and I am not sure about other times, but the server is at it's peak members at the moment. 58 members, on reset. People have already quit the season because you cant do anything on the server, since everything is bugged. Something really needs to change with the server. Can't believe that I was told that the server would be "bug free".
I have a few suggestions to help solve a few major issues on the server:
1. Do not rush resets. People complain about not having a reset, so Vyzon will start to rush out a reset then fix the bugs after it's release. However, seeing how much shit the server is in right now, please get beta testers to help find out most bugs and patch them before it's public release. I would like to emphasize on FIXING MOST BUGS BEFORE RELEASE, since the server is basically dysfunctional at this point.
2. Remove verbal warnings, they are way too hard to keep track of. I was warned for saying "fuck" in chat, even though I had not received a verbal warning on it. Please just remove the verbal warnings.
3. Make sure all the important new rules are mentioned in the announcement of the new reset, or if there is a new rule made mid season, please don't just suddenly say "Flying machines aren't allowed and if you continue to use them you will be banned." in chat, make sure to make an announcement or just something to make the point across. There is a #changelog on discord for a reason, use it.
4. Add in more events, bosses and envoy is not enough. People are already not motivated to play the server as there is literally no fun on the server. Even events like spleef will get people to play the server again,
5. Make sure lucky blocks actually work, they are the whole reason that the server is called "Lucky Skyblock", in the last version of lucky blocks they could crash the server, now they are literal mushrooms that do not work.
6. Revamp staff team, I do not want to say this but most times I feel hostility and aggressiveness from Petarr and I feel biasness coming from Plugin_Developerl, which are 2 feelings that no player should feel from members who are supposed to represent the server. I see too many staff members online not doing anything except punishing members, or doing the same thing but in ./vanish.
EDIT: Forgot to mention about BuglyKitty, he had warned me for Staff Disrespect last season since I said "buglykitty more like noobkitty" as a joke. Even if it was not a joke, I and others believe that I should not have been warned for that. Another incident is how when Cath said "fuck" towards herself, and BuglyKitty had told her not to be racist. I do not see how those are related, so maybe BuglyKitty things that swearing is racist?
EDIT 2: Petarr has been extremely hostile towards me after I said that verbals are removed, he also believes that if verbal warnings are removed, everyone who had previously gotten a verbal warn should be then warned, even if they were verbally warned when it still existed. Please do something about him.
7. Actually implement some of the suggestions in #suggestions , they show what the players want in the server and what they don't want, ignoring it will just make players not get what they want, and they end up quitting.
Take my suggestions in mind, I am sure that most people will approve of them.
